2011-12-16omap-serial: Add minimal device tree supportRajendra Nayak
Adapt the driver to device tree and pass minimal platform data from device tree needed for console boot. No power management features will be suppported for now since it requires more tweaks around OCP settings to toggle forceidle/noidle/smartidle bits and handling remote wakeup and dynamic muxing. 2011-12-13mfd: Add basic device tree binding for wm8994Mark Brown
Add a placeholder device tree binding for the wm8994 driver. At present the binding is essentially null as none of the platform data is supported, and at least some of that will depend on the pending regulator bindings. 2011-11-23regulator: adapt fixed regulator driver to dtRajendra Nayak
The fixed regulator driver uses of_get_fixed_voltage_config() to extract fixed_voltage_config structure contents from device tree. Also add documenation for additional bindings for fixed regulators that can be passed through dt. Signed-off-by: Rajendra Nayak <rnayak@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
2011-11-23regulator: helper routine to extract regulator_init_dataRajendra Nayak
The helper routine is meant to be used by the regulator drivers to extract the regulator_init_data structure from the data that is passed from device tree. 'consumer_supplies' which is part of regulator_init_data is not extracted as the regulator consumer mappings are passed through DT differently, implemented in subsequent patches. Similarly the regulator<-->parent/supply mapping is handled in subsequent patches. Also add documentation for regulator bindings to be used to pass regulator_init_data struct information from device tree. Some of the regulator properties which are linux and board specific, are left out since its not clear if they can be in someway embedded into the kernel or passed in from DT. They will be revisited later. Signed-off-by: Rajendra Nayak <rnayak@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>

2011-11-15ARM: vic: device tree bindingJamie Iles
This adds a device tree binding for the VIC based on the of_irq_init() support. This adds an irqdomain to the vic and always registers all vics in the static vic array rather than for pm only to keep track of the irq domain. struct irq_data::hwirq is used where appropriate rather than runtime masking. v3: - include linux/export.h for THIS_MODULE v2: - use irq_domain_simple_ops - remove stub implementation of vic_of_init for !CONFIG_OF - Make VIC select IRQ_DOMAIN Reviewed-by: Rob Herring <robherring2@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Tested-by: Thomas Abraham <thomas.abraham@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Jamie Iles <jamie@jamieiles.com>
2011-11-15ARM: gic: allow GIC to support non-banked setupsMarc Zyngier
The GIC support code is heavily using the fact that hardware implementations are exposing banked registers. Unfortunately, it looks like at least one GIC implementation (EXYNOS) offers both the distributor and the CPU interfaces at different addresses, depending on the CPU. This problem is solved by allowing the distributor and CPU interface addresses to be per-cpu variables for the platforms that require it. The EXYNOS code is updated not to mess with the GIC internals while handling interrupts, and struct gic_chip_data is back to being private. The DT binding for the gic is updated to allow an optional "cpu-offset" value, which is used to compute the various base addresses. Finally, a new config option (GIC_NON_BANKED) is used to control this feature, so the overhead is only present on kernels compiled with support for EXYNOS. Tested on Origen (EXYNOS4) and Panda (OMAP4). 2011-11-02virtio: Add platform bus driver for memory mapped virtio devicePawel Moll
This patch, based on virtio PCI driver, adds support for memory mapped (platform) virtio device. This should allow environments like qemu to use virtio-based block & network devices even on platforms without PCI support. One can define and register a platform device which resources will describe memory mapped control registers and "mailbox" interrupt. Such device can be also instantiated using the Device Tree node with compatible property equal "virtio, mmio".
