You should be aware that by default, ZJS enables newlib in our prj.conf*
files, with CONFIG_NEWLIB_LIBC=y.

If you release software built with newlib, you should make sure you're aware of
the BSD-like licenses it's under and the copyright statements that you should
be preserving.
